Smartly Cloudy

Get more from the cloud you already pay for.

Microsoft 365 is the best place for documents and email. Salesforce is the best place for clients and deals. Smartly Cloudy joins them inside Word, Excel and Outlook, so your team runs its work across both without a third system in the middle.

A document from SharePoint and a deal from Salesforce, in one window. Switch firms to see each one’s name, colors and words.

Each system does what it’s best at

Documents are unstructured: they need versions, sharing and Office. Client and deal data is structured: it needs fields, pipelines and reports. Instead of forcing one system to do both, keep each in the cloud built for it and join them where people work.

Microsoft 365

Unstructured work

  • Documents and spreadsheets
  • Email and calendars
  • Files, folders and versions
  • Sharing and co-authoring

Stays in SharePoint, OneDrive and Exchange.

Smartly Cloudy

The join

  • Knows which record a document belongs to
  • Brings deal and client data into Word and Excel
  • Looks up an email’s sender in Salesforce
  • Applies your checklists and your brand

Runs in the browser and in Office. Stores nothing.

Salesforce

Structured work

  • Clients, contacts and accounts
  • Deals, matters and pipelines
  • Reports and dashboards
  • Roles and permissions

Stays in your Salesforce org.

What you don’t have to buy

The usual answer to document-heavy workflows is an industry platform that holds its own copy of your documents and client data. Joining the clouds you already license skips that.

Built around how your desk talks

Each firm starts from an industry pack: the words, Salesforce objects and checklists that fit its work. You can change any of them.

Setup takes your admins three steps

  1. Approve the app in Microsoft 365. A Global Administrator signs in once and grants consent. You can limit it to the people or groups you choose.
  2. Upload your branded add-ins. We send manifests with your name and icons; your admin adds them under Integrated apps, and they appear in Word, Excel and Outlook for those users.
  3. Connect Salesforce, if you use it. Your Salesforce admin approves a connected app and can switch each tool on or off for your firm from Salesforce.
